Privacy Policy

Overview

Adjust is private by default. Adjust itself has no account, no cloud sync, and no server, and does not transmit your schedules, sessions, feedback, or settings anywhere. The sections below explain exactly what's stored, and note the one case — your device's own backup feature — where your operating system, not Adjust, can copy that local data off the device.

Data we collect

Adjust has no account, cloud sync, analytics, or advertising identifier, and the developer has no access to your activity. The app does not collect, sell, or transmit your personal activity to us or to any third party. Everything below stays on your device.

Local storage

Adjust stores the following categories of data locally, on your device only:

  • Your reset schedules and their settings.
  • Reminder sessions: which exercise or guided routine each reminder is for, its progress step, and its scheduled, fired, completed, skipped, missed, or cancelled status with the corresponding timestamps.
  • Optional feedback you give about a completed reset.
  • Streak-tracking rules used to show your progress.
  • App settings and preferences, such as onboarding completion, theme, language, your active schedule, per-schedule pause/snooze reminder control, recent reward messages you've seen, your missed-reminder threshold, and your per-schedule streak-reset date.

The exercises and guided routines bundled with the app are shipped content, not data about you.

Device backups

Adjust does not sync this data to any cloud service that it operates. However, if you have your device's own backup feature turned on — such as Apple's iCloud or Finder/iTunes backup — your operating system may include this local app data in that backup as part of backing up your whole device. That is a feature of your device that you control in your platform's own settings, governed by that platform's own privacy policy; Adjust does not initiate, control, or receive anything from it.

Exporting your history

A completed-history export is created only when you choose Export history CSV in Settings. Adjust writes that file and hands it to your device's standard share sheet — it is then shared only with the destination you personally choose (for example, Mail, Files, or a cloud drive app).

Third parties, analytics & advertising

Adjust has no embedded analytics, no advertising, and no automatic transmission of your data to any third party. The one exception is the export described above: if you choose to share your exported CSV with a destination such as an email provider or a cloud drive, that destination receives the file and handles it under its own privacy policy — Adjust does not control, and does not receive anything back from, that destination.

Children's privacy

Adjust is a general-wellness tool intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. Because Adjust has no account and does not collect or transmit personal data, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from anyone else.

Data security

Because your data stays on your device, its protection depends on your device's own security (such as your device passcode and platform-level encryption). Adjust has no server, so there is no remote database that could be breached.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
